You will be a data engineer who plays a critical role in supporting Gemineye’s clients. This position blends deep technical skills in data engineering with direct client interaction. You’ll maintain and troubleshoot data pipelines, while also ensuring client-reported issues are resolved quickly and effectively. This is a hands-on engineering role that requires both technical excellence and strong communication.

Respond to client tickets for changes, adds, or troubleshooting.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines in Databricks using SQL and PySpark

Troubleshoot and resolve client data issues, collaborating with engineers and Service Delivery Managers

Analyze root causes of recurring issues and implement long-term solutions

Support Power BI developers with well-structured data models for reporting

Partner with clients to understand technical problems and translate them into solutions

Document fixes, enhancements, and best practices for both internal and client use

Contribute to process and product improvements based on client feedback

Strong SQL skills and proficiency with Databricks or similar data platforms

Experience with data pipeline development, Python, ETL/ELT, and medallion architectures

Solid understanding of data modeling principles (fact/dim tables, performance optimization)

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues for end users or clients

Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Proven ability to work independently while supporting collaborative problem-solving

Must be comfortable communicating and working with clients directly to clairify requirements or troubleshoot solutions. This is not a sit and program all day type of job.

Familiarity with credit union or banking systems (e.g., Symitar, Temenos, MeridianLink, general ledger)

Experience supporting Power BI data models and DAX logic

Experience working in client-facing or professional services roles
