- Develop, evaluate, and refine manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, quality, and safety across the production line.
- Utilize CAD software SolidWorks to design tooling, fixtures, and process layouts that support manufacturing objectives.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machines, robotics, and vision inspection systems to automate and optimize production workflows.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations or product defects, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with process engineering teams to implement lean manufacturing principles, reduce waste, and improve throughput.
- Create detailed schematics and technical documentation for industrial equipment, assembly lines, and fabrication processes following ISO 9001 standards.
- Lead projects involving plastics injection molding, welding, CNC programming, CAM programming, and industrial equipment upgrades to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Support factory experience by maintaining equipment performance through preventive maintenance schedules and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee tooling design and fabrication for assembly lines while ensuring mechanical knowledge is applied effectively in process optimization.
- Engage in robot programming for automation tasks involving robotics integration within the manufacturing facility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field with proven experience in manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on factory experience in assembly lines or fabrication settings.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks; familiarity with schematics and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Experience programming CNC machines, CAM software, PLCs, robotics systems, and vision inspection systems.
- Knowledge of plastics injection molding processes along with tooling design expertise.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies.
- Understanding of industrial engineering concepts including process engineering and factory layout optimization.
- Excellent skills in project scheduling to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
