Our Automotive client is seeking a Senior Project Manager (IT). This role is hybrid with 4 days onsite in Torrance, 1 day WFH. This role is 40 hours/week for one year with the possibility to extend. WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Plan, manage, and execute tactical activities for consumer privacy related projects. This requires strong leadership and project management expertise, the ability to meet regulatory deadlines, and consistent delivery of daily and weekly progress updates. - Close collaboration with data privacy business partners, the legal department, and multiple IT technical teams. - Proven track record in managing teams, timelines, and remediation activities is essential. - Demonstrated experience managing all phases of a project lifecycle, including scope definition, POC/POT efforts, design, construction, and go live. -Experience managing project budgets for both labor and outsourced services is required-Ability to ensure that consumer privacy projects are delivered on time and aligned with approved business and legal objectives, data governance standards, and client's quality expectations. - Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and decision forums, while ensuring clear and consistent communication of progress, risks, dependencies, and impacts.-A strong emphasis is placed on early detection of deviations from the agreed upon project plan, with the expectation to document, escalate, and drive issues to closure.- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations to ensure alignment with approved funding and staffing plans.
