Job Responsibilities: Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams / Process Flow Diagrams / General Arrangement Drawings Equipment (compressors, chillers, pumps, etc.) sizing calculations Process line sizing calculations Control valve, pressure relief-device and orifice sizing calculations Equipment and Instrument datasheets Vendor coordination for selection of instrumentation and equipment. Reviewing and checking the work of other process engineers to determine accuracy and completeness. Coordination of design inputs and design activities with other engineering disciplines in a team environment. Must meet expectations for attendance and punctuality. Qualifications/Experience Bachelor's degree (B. S.) / Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program. Other engineering degrees will be considered if applicable experience. Minimum of Five (5) years related experience and/or training. Experience in Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear projects is a big plus. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the key duties listed above satisfactorily.
