Role Overview
Creator is seeking an experienced Account Director to help lead our Customer Success team. The Account Director serves as the senior strategic partner for key clients, ensuring influencer marketing programs align with business objectives and deliver measurable results. This role will lead a pod of Campaign Managers and Specialists, providing strategic guidance, mentorship, and oversight while empowering the team to execute campaigns.
The Account Director will also support account growth, strengthen client relationships, and drive operational efficiency across their portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Client Management:
- Serve as the senior strategic point of contact for key clients, aligning influencer marketing programs with business objectives
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership growth
- Lead strategic planning conversations, ensuring campaigns align with broader brand and marketing objectives
- Provide clients with high-level performance insights, strategic recommendations, and forward-looking opportunities based on campaign results and industry trends
- Manage complex client communications and expectations, particularly around campaign performance, strategic direction, and program evolution
Pod Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead a pod of Campaign Managers and Specialists, ensuring strong collaboration, accountability, and delivery
- Provide strategic guidance while empowering the team to own campaign execution
- Mentor and develop team members through coaching, feedback, and professional growth support
- Manage resource planning and workload distribution across client accounts
Campaign Oversight:
- Provide strategic oversight across influencer marketing campaigns within the pod, ensuring alignment with client goals and agency standards
- Guide team on campaign approach, creator strategy, and optimization opportunities.
- Review campaign performance and ensure the team delivers insightful reporting and actionable recommendations to clients
- Lead post-campaign strategic reviews to identify learnings and inform future campaigns and client programs
Business Growth:
- Identify opportunities for account expansion, upselling, and cross-selling across the client portfolio
- Partner with sales and leadership teams on new business opportunities, contributing to pitches, proposals, and strategic recommendations
- Help shape long-term client roadmaps, identifying ways to expand influencer marketing programs and deepen partnerships
Agency Leadership & Thought Leadership:
- Contribute to agency process improvements, service offerings, and strategic initiatives in partnership with senior leadership
- Act as a thought leader internally and externally, sharing insights on influencer marketing trends, best practices, and platform developments
- Support the development of case studies, presentations, and industry-facing content that elevate the agency's market positioning
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in social media, communications, digital marketing, or related fields
- 3+ years of professional experience in influencer marketing
- 3+ years of client management experience
- 2+ years of professional experience leading a team
- Agency experience strongly preferred
- Experience developing or contributing to influencer marketing strategy and campaign planning
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or guiding junior team members
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting insights to clients and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving, with the ability to identify opportunities and implement new ideas
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Compensation Range:
We offer a starting annual salary of $85,000 - $110,000 CAD
Total compensation includes salary, bonus, benefits, and other perks
