Duties
- Develop and maintain robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Azure Data Lake, Talend, Informatica, Databricks and other tools to ensure high-quality data flow across systems.
- Design and implement scalable data models and database schemas for data warehouses utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other relational databases.
- Build and optimize big data solutions leveraging Hadoop, Apache Hive, Spark, and related technologies for large-scale data processing.
- Integrate diverse data sources including Linked Data, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to create unified datasets for analysis.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and deliver continuous improvements in data architecture.
- Write efficient SQL queries, Python scripts, Bash (Unix shell), Shell Scripting, and VBA for automation and analysis tasks.
- Support model training and analysis efforts by providing clean, structured datasets and insights to enable effective decision-making.
Experience
- Proven experience designing and implementing data pipelines in cloud environments such as Azure Data Lake or AWS.
- Strong proficiency in SQL programming along with expertise in database design principles for data warehouses.
- Hands-on experience with big data frameworks including Hadoop, Spark, Apache Hive, and related tools.
- Familiarity with ETL tools like Talend or Informatica for seamless data integration workflows.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, Bash scripting, or VBA to automate processes and perform complex analysis.
- Experience working with analytics platforms like Looker or similar BI tools for reporting purposes.

Pay: $120,835.74 - $145,522.61 per year
