Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Design
- Lead the design and analysis of civil engineering projects from concept through permitting.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Conduct site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
Technical Expertise
- Design stormwater management systems
- Perform hydraulic and hydrologic calculations and modeling
- Design site grading, utilities, and infrastructure systems
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Review and approve junior engineer work products
Client & Stakeholder Relations
- Interface with clients, regulatory agencies, and municipal officials
- Attend public meetings and present technical information
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams
- Provide technical support during construction phases
Professional Development
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineering staff
- Stay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices
- Participate in professional development and continuing education
Required Qualifications
Licensing
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience
- Proven experience in site development and infrastructure design
- Experience with stormwater management and hydraulic design
- Municipal and public works project experience preferred
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in CAD and engineering design software
- Knowledge of stormwater modeling software
- Understanding of local and state design standards and regulations
- Experience with permitting processes and regulatory compliance

- Strong project management and organizational abilities
