JOB DESCRIPTION:
- We are seeking a Civil Engineer graduate with a bachelor’s degree and a minimum 1-year of experience for our Sheridan, WY office. This position is an excellent opportunity for professional development with the opportunity to advance while supporting challenging / interesting services and clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering from an ABET or NAAB accredited school.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is preferred.
- One year of experience (minimum) in civil design. Earthwork calculations and project development for Oil and Gas work is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.

EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with Oil and Gas related civil design projects for Oil and Gas development is preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD or comparable Civil Survey design software is preferred.
- Experience in preparing basemaps, design drawings, plans, specifications, technical correspondence, and written reports is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction and surveying is a plus.
- GIS experience is a plus.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Civil Engineering Design including well pads, roads and pipeline alignment.
- Perform all aspects of site design such as processing surveys, grading, drainage, stormwater management, water distribution and sewer collection, erosion control, SWPPP reports, and construction cost estimating.
- Review permitting documents for Oil and Gas projects.
- Maintain appropriate file structure and naming conventions.
- Manage projects from start to finish.
- Work as a team member.
