DescriptionWe are currently seeking a
Civil Engineer to join our growing Site/Civil team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong technical design experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and contributing to a wide range of land development and infrastructure projects. As a Civil Engineer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists to support the planning, design, and execution of site/civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed site/civil engineering design including: site layout, grading & drainage, utility design, stormwater management systems, erosion & sedimentation control plans
- Prepare site plans and construction documents
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
- Support permitting efforts and coordinate with local and state agencies
- Perform occasional field work and site investigations
- Collaborate with internal project teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions
- Assist with project coordination, scheduling, and technical documentation
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 4+ years of relevant civil/site engineering experience
- Connecticut FE license required
- PE license preferred, or ability to obtain within 2 years
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Experience with StormCAD and HydroCAD preferred
- Familiarity with local and state permitting requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively within a team environment
