Longhorn Electrical Services, Inc. Is actively seeking highly qualified, highly motivated electrical Project Engineer. Engineer will be expected to work in office not remotely. The position is a full time, long term position to assist in further progressing the high standards of safety, professionalism, quality, and integrity the electrical industry has come to expect from Longhorn Electrical Services, inc.
Pay 80k-100k annually
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist project management team with project engineering.
- Establishing specific goals for project staff members and conduct periodic performance evaluations.
- Preparing project estimates
- Coordinating and managing relationships with Project Owners, Architects, and Engineers
- Providing technical advice
- Provide plan and product submittal review
- Organizing projects and develop standards and guidelines.
- Participating in monthly billing process.
- Monitoring project budgets and schedules
- Addressing client-specific requirements.
- periodic site visits.
- Hands-on design review and modifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of electrical engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and proven ability to complete projects on time.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Strong team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to research and apply new innovations and technology.
- Proficient computer skills (e.g., Blue Beam, Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD or Revit, ETAP, SKM, Mccormick estimating software.
- Must be able to qualify for security access.
- Must have completed or be willing to attend OSHA 30 hour Safety Training Course.
