We are seeking a highly driven Senior Business Analyst to join a fast-paced performance marketing and corporate websites team within a leading financial services environment. This is a 40-hour/week contract-to-hire opportunity, beginning as a 2-month freelance engagement with strong potential for full-time conversion, based onsite in Houston, TX (5 days/week).In this role, you will sit at the center of business and technology, partnering with product owners, developers, and UX teams to deliver enhancements across enterprise-level digital platforms. You will be responsible for gathering and translating business goals into clear, structured technical requirements, while supporting a high-volume, continuous delivery model (not traditional sprints).Day-to-day, you will participate in daily standups, manage and respond to a large volume of Jira tickets (50-60+ concurrently), and maintain clear documentation within Confluence. You will apply BDD methodologies (Given/When/Then) to define user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment between stakeholders and development teams. You will also leverage Figma to collaborate on design requirements and utilize approved AI tools and prompt engineering techniques to accelerate documentation, analysis, and testing workflows-while ensuring accuracy, traceability, and quality.This role requires a technically strong and adaptable BA who thrives in a highly collaborative environment, is comfortable navigating competing priorities, and can confidently communicate across product, engineering, and testing teams.
