Geotechnical Project Engineer/Assitant Project Manager

Founded in 2001, AMERIGEO, Inc. is a dynamic and rapidly growing engineering and consulting firm serving private and public-sector clients in the states of New York and New Jersey.
Seeking Geotechnical Project Engineer/Asistant Project Manager with PE for engineering, subsurface investigation, static and dynamic testing of deeep foundations, and special inspections in NYC and surrounding suburbs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide geotechnical and foundation engineering for the preparation of drawings, calculations, reports, and other related tasks.
- Provide asistance to the project manager or leading staffs and technicians for field investigation, soil testing, static and dynamic testing of piles, and instrumentations
- Pervide field construction observation or oversight staffs during installation of shallow and deep foundation installation and testing, underpinning and other tasks related to underground /foundation construction and ground improvement for compliance with plans and specifications.spections.
- Provide assistance to the Project Manager for the coordination of client interactions, sub consultant direction, and staff oversight.
Requirements:
- BSCE from an ABET accredited university (MSCE plus)
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of New Jersey/New York, or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate and be on-track to obtain a PE License within one year
- Four (4) to eight (8+) year’s of experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license (occasional travel to work sites required)

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
