Job Summary
Awws is seeking a hands-on Civil Engineer to specialize in all types of wastewater and septic systems. This is a dynamic hybrid role that blends office-based design and permitting with field-level troubleshooting, system installations, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Permitting & Compliance: Famliliar with the permitting process for residential and public septic systems, with adherence to Montana DEQ Regulations.
- System Design & Assessment: Apply deep working knowledge of pumps, controls, and wastewater treatment processes to design and evaluate optimal system performance.
- Field Execution: Act as a technical specialist in the field, conducting hands-on repairs, overseeing installations, and troubleshooting operational issues.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Background in and passion for various wastewater systems.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude regarding pump systems and controls.
- Familiarity with Montana DEQ standards and the septic permitting process.
- Ability to comfortably transition between engineering design and active, boots-on-the-ground field work.
- Wage is dependent upon qualifications listed above
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
