Utility Engineer
Ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations and regulatory compliance by serving as the technical Subject Matter Expert for critical plant utility systems including WFI, clean steam, and process utilities.
This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do:
Deliver greater operational impact by ensuring a continuous, uninterrupted, and fully compliant utility supply to support critical biopharma manufacturing.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and Facilities teams while providing technical guidance to utility operators and technicians.
Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot critical water systems (WFI, WRO), clean steam generation, compressed gases, and wastewater distribution systems.
Lead and execute engineering projects across the full lifecycle, from initiation and design through to construction, commissioning, and validation.
Develop and maintain critical engineering documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, specifications, design reviews, and FAT/SAT/IQ protocols.
Drive continuous improvement by performing root-cause analyses, resolving deviations, implementing CAPAs, and maintaining robust audit readiness.
Foster professional growth by owning project scopes, budgets, contractor packages, and contributing directly to the evolution of global site engineering standards.
What we are looking for:
Experience: 3–8+ years in utilities or process engineering, with a preferred background operating within a highly regulated GMP or biopharma environment.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of industrial utility infrastructure, engineering design principles, regulatory frameworks (FDA, EMA, cGMP), and familiarity with instrumentation and ISA standards.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial) or equivalent transferable technical credentials.
Problem Solving: Proven troubleshooting capability for systemic and emergent process failures, including the flexibility to support off-hours operations when required.
Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage full project lifecycles, contractor execution, and project close-out packages seamlessly.
