We are looking to hire a full-time, contingent Business Analyst to join our client’s Business Operations Services (BOS) team.This position will work alongside other business analysts, to support initiatives across the organization by providing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing user acceptancetesting. To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical and logical way of thinking, be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users and be able to work effectively with internal and external business and technical teams.
Key duties:
- Working with cross-functional teams, perform business requirements analysis, define relevant areas of changes, translate and document the requirements into design specifications and functional requirements, and communicate the results.
- Manage assigned projects, develop, and review test plans and scripts, monitor deliverables, perform user acceptance testing, monitor changes with the use of effective application of change control processes.
- Work closely with internal teams, external partners, and IT teams to develop complex solutions, reports, dashboards, and use analytical and historical data to recommend and implement appropriate business solutions.
- Conduct meetings with internal and external teams, gather information, produce effective reports, and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Liaise with business teams and managers to uncover areas for improvement and optimization strategies.
- Ensure that various appropriate elements, including documents, policy documents, guides, and business communications are kept up to date and are available.
- Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to other staff.
Required Skills:
- Able to perform effectively in a diverse, fast-paced, and high-volume workload environment while meeting critical deadlines, handling multiple priorities and projects at the same time.
- The ability to work well independently, in collaboration with others as well as with various levels of management.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills that incorporate patience, common sense, and creation of high-quality, easy-to-understand materials.
- Excellent analytical, evaluative skills; above-average interpersonal and communication skills; written, verbal, and presentation.
- The ability to successfully navigate complex approval flows and established processes.
Qualifications (Education & Experience)
- Bachelor's degree in business or information systems or equivalent work experience preferably in financial services (consumer, banking, captive finance).
- Highly skilled in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Project, Visio
- Knowledge of Financing Instruments desired.
- Detail oriented, self-motivator, deadlines oriented, excellent ability to take and follow directions.
- Comfortable working from home or in office (from time to time, subject to change)
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $30 to $33 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
