Our client, a fast-growing EPCM company in the Oil & Gas industry, has a permanent opportunity for a Senior Engineer to be based in Midland, TX.
Job Overview Our client is seeking a dynamic professional to join their team as a Senior Engineer. This role will play a pivotal part in overseeing and optimizing the company's operations, ensuring efficient project engineering, and contributing to the strategic growth of the company. You will have the unique opportunity to join a team with backgrounds from major owner operators and take the best-in-class technical expertise to provide exceptional full turn-key services to the Oil & Gas industry.
As a Senior Engineer you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the engineering and design processes, ensuring the seamless integration of projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will be a part of a team of skilled engineers and designers, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet or exceed client expectations. As well as interface with the clients in the design, construction and project close out phases.
Responsibilities: - Support and Mentor team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Provide guidance and support for professional development, ensuring the team remains at the forefront of industry trends and best practices.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects within scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
- Collaborate with project teams, both internal and external, to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and understanding of client needs.
- Act as a technical advisor, providing expertise and insights to clients on engineering solutions and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of engineering strategies aligned with company goals and industry advancements.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure the quality and compliance of engineering deliverables with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to uphold the company's reputation for excellence.
- Report to CEO.
- Work with procurement department to identify and vet new suppliers and fabricators.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or related field).
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the oil and gas industry,
- Strong engineering and project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of oil and gas engineering principles, technologies, and industry standards.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in the industry.
- Understand and have familiarity with O&G fabrication and construction practices.
- 15-30 years of relevant industry experience.
- PE certification preferred
