Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Aerospace Engineer to join our cutting-edge team. Duties
- Lead the design and development of aerospace systems using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, ensuring precise mechanical design and 3D modeling for product development.
- Conduct system analysis including root cause analysis to troubleshoot engineering issues and optimize performance across aerospace components.
- Manage project scheduling to ensure timely delivery of engineering milestones while coordinating cross-functional teams including manufacturing, civil engineering, and systems engineering.
- Perform detailed building code analysis and ensure compliance with industry standards such as building code regulations and fire protection system requirements.
- Utilize programming languages like Python, C++, MATLAB, and scripting tools to develop simulation models, automate testing procedures, and analyze data collected from laboratory experiments or field tests.
- Oversee manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of mechanical design principles, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and system design to improve product quality and efficiency.
- Lead research initiatives involving quantum engineering concepts or advanced mechanical systems to innovate next-generation aerospace solutions.
- Collaborate with team members on schematic creation, building information modeling (BIM) tools, and system troubleshooting to ensure seamless project execution.
- Engage in construction experience related to aerospace facilities or testing sites, ensuring adherence to safety standards and building information modeling (BIM) protocols.
- Facilitate team leadership by guiding junior engineers, fostering cross-functional communication, and managing project timelines effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role within aerospace or related fields such as mining or civil engineering.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management with a track record of successfully scheduling complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong background in mechanical engineering principles with hands-on experience in mechanical design, 3D modeling for product design, schematics development, and CAD software proficiency.
- Familiarity with systems engineering processes including data analysis skills, research methodologies, laboratory experience, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), fire protection systems, building code compliance, or construction projects is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of data collection methods using 3D scanners or other advanced measurement tools to support research or quality assurance efforts.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration across teams specializing in civil engineering, mechanical design, or quantum technologies.

Pay: $90,344.63 - $148,802.13 per year
