Develop traditional as well as integrated master plans for municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater utilitiesConduct data analysis for hodologic conditions, sanitary and storm flows, water demands, system hydraulics, etc.Develop conceptual site plans and cost estimatesConduct system modeling for water, wastewater, and stormwater systemsAssist with permitting and alternatives analysisPrepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverablesSupport and develop client relationsShare knowledge and provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineering staff on master planning and hydraulic modeling projectsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering7-15 years of directly-relevant experience in water, sewer, and stormwater system modeling, and master planningRegistration as a Professional EngineerProject management skills with demonstrated experience managing staff with scope, budget, and scheduleAbility to apply engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniquesFamiliarity with computer applications including ArcGIS, CAD software, and water and sewer hydraulic modeling packages from Autodesk (Inovyze and XPSWMM), Bentley, and DHI MikeKnowledge of hydrology, system hydraulics, hydraulic modeling software for pressurized and/or gravity pipeline networks, knowledge and experience working with GISStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficient in MS Word and ExcelWork well in a team environmentHave the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project teamHighly motivated, articulate, and self-startingPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Civil or Environmental EngineeringCompensation Range$125,000 to $150,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
