We are looking for...
- Civil engineering experience, preferably in highway/transportation
- PE license preferred
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with design, plans, specs, and project coordination.
- Experience with steel fabrication
- Knowledge of the NY State Steel Construction Manual, the NYSDOT Standard Specifications
Responsibilities include:
· Capability to work with multiple external customers as well as coordinating with internal team members to ensure project completion by defined deadlines and established quality standards.
- Work with the Drafting/Engineering, Quality Control and Production departments to review drawings and move jobs from the beginning to end.
- Work with the Drafting/Engineering team to set priorities, review and provide comments on calculations performed by staff.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Highway/bridge/signage/guide rail/toll collection project experience
- Familiarity with the manufacturing and fabricating of steel products
- Basic knowledge of the construction industry and construction principles/practices
- Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications and scope of services
- Basic knowledge of construction drawings, contract documents, construction sequencing
- Working knowledge of the NY State Steel construction manual, MUTCD Manual, and NYSDOT Standard Specifications
- Proficient in MS Office, Experience with AutoCAD
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000 - $ per year
Work Location: In person, on-site. Prioritizing local or New York State candidates.

Our company comprises two main product lines; The sign division manufactures traffic signs, large guide signs and signposts for highways and bridges, and the structure division prides itself on producing cashless tolling gantries, overhead sign structures and pedestrian handrail, along with various types of structural towers and platforms.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
