As a QA Release Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Software Quality Assurance department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.Job Title:QA Release EngineerLocation:Foster City, CAPay Range:$95/hour + BenefitsWhat's the Job?Conduct manual and automated testing of software applications to ensure high quality and reliability. Analyze pull requests from developers, performing functional, regression, and performance testing. Identify potential risks or issues, triage scenarios flagged by the system, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address them. Report and track regressions and defects systematically, ensuring timely resolutions. Continuously improve QA processes to prevent performance degradation and enhance overall development efficiency.What's Needed?Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience of at least 6 years as a QA Engineer or similar role in software quality assurance. Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies and testing tools such as TestRail or equivalent. Strong understanding of various testing methodologies including functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
