Qualifications Required
- BS Degree in Engineering (electrical preferred).
- Project Management Professional certification preferred, not required.
- Must have 5-10 years' experience in leading electrical projects involving plant power systems. This includes all devices from medium voltage switchgear down to low voltage panelboards as well as drives, PLC’s, communication networks, and other electrical infrastructure.
- Must have experience with any of the following industries: Paper Mills, Oil & Gas, Steel, Mining, Chemical Plants, Foundries, Metal Manufacturing.
- AutoCAD experience required

Your Work
You will be responsible for coordinating all phases of project, from business justification to start-up and then to closure and documentation. This can include conducting studies, preparing technical specifications, evaluating vendors, and change management. During project execution, you will be responsible for management of contractors including safety, performance, budget, and schedule for each project assigned. You will also be responsible for the budget, schedule, and performance of all assigned capital projects. You will also coordinate with individual departments throughout project to coordinate and schedule installation/production disruption. Typical projects will range from $50k to $3M.
