My background is 30 years in the manufacturing industry. I am seeking employment with a successful organization where personnel are treated with respect and are recognized as assets. I am open to change and flexible with people. My motivation is to exceed the goals of the organization. I am a directed team leader and an effective communicator. I maintain my position in best interest of the company and other employees.
My knowledge includes responsibilities in material planning and purchasing, supplier sourcing, and negotiating for purchasing and pricing agreements. My experience includes interacting professionally with departments within the organization like Sales, Marketing, R&D, Engineering, Customer Service, Production, Final Assembly, and Shipping and Receiving. I have worked closely with engineering and production to ensure that materials are available to support manufacturing schedules and sales objectives.
I am a leader who motivates myself and empowers others to work together in teams. I recognize that there exist different personalities in the work environment,
which can create disagreement, friction, and conflict. I look for ways to create collaboration that results in productivity.
