About
With over 28 years of international leadership experience in Human Capital Development, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Workforce Development, and Institutional Capacity Building across Africa, the Middle East, the GCC, and South Asia, I have successfully designed and delivered transformative initiatives that enhanced workforce competitiveness, modernized learning institutions, and supported sustainable economic growth.
Throughout my career, I have led complex, multi-country programs funded by leading international development partners, including the European Union, World Bank, African Development Bank, ILO, IOM, UNESCO, ETF, and GIZ. My expertise encompasses TVET reform, skills development strategies, competency-based education and training, occupational standards and qualifications frameworks, apprenticeship and work-based learning systems, institutional transformation, quality assurance, accreditation, digital learning, and organizational performance improvement.
My achievements include leading the modernization of 20 technical secondary schools and 6 vocational training centers, upgrading 40 vocational training workshops across Malawi under an EU-funded initiative, contributing to regional qualifications development with ETF, implementing innovative apprenticeship models, and transforming technical academies serving more than 11,000 employees. I have also pioneered future-oriented learning programs in Artificial Intelligence, Industry 4.0, Advanced Manufacturing, Robotics, and Emerging Technologies.
