Job Title: English-Chinese Translator / Interpreter (Site-based)
Location: Doha, Qatar
Employment Type: Full-time / Contract
Key Responsibilities:

Provide on-site interpretation between English and Chinese to facilitate effective communication between local and Chinese-speaking teams.

Translate technical and operational documents, such as manuals, reports, and work instructions.

Assist in compiling reports, meeting minutes (MOM), and official documents in both English and Chinese when required.
Requirements:

Proven experience in professional translation or interpretation, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or engineering project environments.

Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese.

Must be currently based in Doha or willing to relocate.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Translation, Language Studies, International Relations, or related field.

Familiarity with engineering or site operation terminology.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
