Job Title: Vessel HVAC Technician

Work Schedule: 7 days x 12 hours

Vessel:
JDS6000 is a multipurpose DP3 vessel for pipelaying (J-lay and S-lay) and heavy lift applications, useful for offshore projects such as decommissioning and wind farms. The JSD6000 is also equipped with a fully rotating heavy-lift crane with a lifting capacity of 5,200 tones.
Mission:
- Work in coordination the electrical team on ICT and communication side, where good ITknowledge is necessary
- Plan the electrical maintenance reporting to the Electrical lead / Chief Engineer
- Respect of HSE and Quality procedures and practices
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and installation/replacement works on the vessel HVAC systems safely and efficiently
- Install, remove and replace the elements of the vessel HVAC systems, using hand and power tools and the appropriate fittings
- Perform troubleshooting on the vessel HVAC systems
- Be able to read HVAC layout drawings
- Provide support to the engine room department when required to do so
- Be responsible for good housekeeping on the work site
- Wear the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), wherever required
- Participate to the Tool box talks meeting and JSA (Job Safety Analysis), wherever required
- Report to the 2nd Enginee
