As a
data engineer senior on the Enterprise Data team, you’ll work alongside Data Engineers and Consultants to provide a world-class data platform that empowers every team within the enterprise to independently build and manage innovative data products through a self-service experience. In this role you'll build, maintain, and support the data solutions that provide our customers capabilities to effectively use data for better business decisions. You’ll be tasked with solving complex problems using data-focused software engineering. Additionally, you'll research industry trends and Progressive enterprise-wide data/architecture capabilities, implement new techniques as necessary, and provide technical recommendations for advancing our data strategy.

Must-have qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum of two years of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications.

In lieu of degree, minimum of four years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications may be accepted.
Preferred skills

Experience with building data pipelines for collecting, transforming, and integrating data from various sources

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS (S3, Lambda, EMR) and cloud services like Snowflake with data replication, orchestration, and transformation tools (HVR, Prefect, DBT, etc. or similar tech stack)

Proven expertise in programming languages such as Python, and related technology stacks

Comprehensive understanding of the data lifecycle, from ideation and ETL/ELT processes, through deployment of data products, ensuring efficient data enablement and reporting solutions

Experience/exposure to SQL Server Integration Services
Compensation

$114,950 - $134,000/year

Gainshare annual cash performance incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
