About the Role: This new position will be vital in helping FTG continue to grow our business. They will do this by executing on the following responsibilities:
- Lead the NPI process for new PCB designs, ensuring they are manufacturable, scalable, and meet customer specifications.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure smooth product launches and address potential production challenges.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment setup, and tooling for new products.
- Perform design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) analysis to improve production efficiency.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, driving cost reduction and efficiency gains.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, industry certifications, and safety regulations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven leader able to support and guide the plant team to achieve established goals and objectives.
- Track record of recruiting and developing employees at all levels of the organization.
- Clear accomplishments on delivering outstanding support to customers.
- Demonstrated success achieving financial targets and year over year improvements.
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, both in personal and group settings.
- Experience in lean practices and statistical process control.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or Associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience, or 5+ years of experience as an NPI Engineer in PCB manufacturing or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of PCB design, fabrication, and assembly processes.
- Familiarity with PCB CAD tools (Genesis, InCam, Eagle, or similar).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of quality standards such as IPC-A-610, ISO 9001, and other industry certifications is a plus.

Pay range and compensation package:
Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000
