What will your job look like?We are looking for a
Technical Director level person, who can lead the team (of ~100, broken into smaller teams) and command both the technical aspects of the job as well as managing the Business and stakeholders requirements.
Description:
- Lead cross-functional development teams in designing and delivering scalable, cloud-native Pega applications (Pega Infinity '24, Pega Constellation UI, DX APIs) tailored to telecom and fiber provider operations-spanning order orchestration, customer onboarding, provisioning, and field service.
- Oversee enterprise-grade implementations utilizing Pega's latest capabilities, including Pega Process AI, Pega Case Management, Decisioning Services, and Pega Customer Decision Hub, to support real-time personalization and automation across the customer lifecycle.
- Architect and govern complex integrations between Pega and key telecom OSS/BSS systems (e.g., Salesforce, Netcracker, Amdocs, ServiceNow, or custom APIs) leveraging Pega's Integration Designer, Kafka connectors, and Dev Studio rulesets.
- Implement robust CI/CD pipelines for Pega using Deployment Manager, PegaUnit, Git-based rule versioning, Docker containers, and orchestrators such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps for multi-environment governance and streamlined release cycles.
- Mentor and manage multiple global development teams, instilling modern Pega best practices including App Studio-driven low-code design, data layer modeling, and Constellation-based microjourney development to deliver business agility and platform consistency.
- Collaborate with telecom business units to prioritize roadmap initiatives and ensure Pega solutions align with fiber growth objectives (e.g., serviceability expansion, self-service portals, SLA compliance), while maintaining platform scalability and technical debt control.
All you need is...- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent - information technology, management information systems, software engineering, and networking
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in software engineering and at least 5 years of experience with Pega Infinity '24, Pega Constellation UI, DX APIs
- Proven experience of software development methodologies, principles, procedures, software management, and support tools and services.
- Experience with global IT companies is an added advantage.
