Technical Field Services Engineer within

Congo. You will be responsible for supervising operations and activities related to the services provided by Versalis to our customers in the oil and gas sector.

Main responsibilities:
- Managing and coordinating all technical laboratory activities, supervising the team responsible for chemical testing, performance analysis and the development of new treatments.
- Providing cutting-edge expertise in chemical products for the oil and gas sector, assessing customer needs and proposing tailor-made solutions based on rigorous analytical results.
- Defining, implementing and optimising chemical treatment protocols on site, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and performance requirements.
- Supervising the planning and execution of laboratory test campaigns, ensuring the scientific relevance of the tests and the reliable interpretation of the results.
- Validating technical specifications and engineering documents (flow diagrams, P&IDs, chemical injection balances) to ensure that they are in line with best industrial practice.
- Developing and adjusting chemical treatment programmes in the field based on data collected in the laboratory and operational observations.
- Supervising, training and supporting laboratory technicians and engineers to ensure a high level of competence and technical excellence.
- Writing strategic technical reports for customers and management, including analyses, recommendations and continuous improvement plans.
- Ensuring coordination between the various stakeholders (customers, subcontractors, suppliers, in-house teams) to guarantee the smooth running of chemical operations.
- Actively participate in technology watch and innovation to propose new approaches for the laboratory's activities, adapted to market and regulatory developments.
Skills and experience required:
- Bac+4/5 in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- 5 years' experience minimum within the oil and gas sector.
- Fluent in French, professional level of English.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to travel as required.
- High level of commitment to the role.
- Open to learn and embed the Company's policies.
