Bureau Veritas North America is looking for Rotating Equipment Inspectors.
Responsibilities:
- Experience - Should have 5 to 10 years experience in QA/QC for rotating equipment's / relevant certifications
- Equipments inspected - Should have done inspections on
- Pumps
- Compressors
- Turbines (gas/steam)
- Fans
- Engines
- Gearboxes
- Blowers
- Detailed inspection experience -
- Witness Factory acceptance test
- Performance test
- Hydrostatic test
- Pneumatic Test
- No load test
- NDE
- String test
- Balancing test
- Read and interprété drawings,
- MTC review
- Witness test as per ITP
- Visual and Dimensional
- Educational Requirements - Associate degree with QA/QC experience or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engg.
- Certifications - Not mandatory, but better to have API Source Inspection Rotating Equipments (SIRE)
- Additional Requirements - Should be able to prepare good Inspection reports using MS Word. Should be able to work with different reporting tools.
