Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Land Manager to oversee various land development projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering and construction management, with expertise in project scheduling and technical writing. This role requires a proactive approach to managing land use, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage land development projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate project scheduling and resource allocation effectively.
- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Bluebeam for drafting and design purposes.
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors on project specifications and schematics.
- Prepare technical documents, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Implement GIS technologies for mapping and analyzing land use data.
- Oversee construction estimating processes to provide accurate cost assessments.
- Engage in land surveying activities to support project planning and execution.
- Address any geotechnical engineering challenges that arise during the development process.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in project management methodologies.
- Experience with construction management practices and principles.
- Knowledge of GIS software such as ArcGIS for spatial analysis.
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems design and wastewater treatment processes.
- Proficient in drafting using CAD software including MicroStation and Revit.
- Ability to perform complex calculations using Mathcad or similar tools.
- Understanding of pipeline systems and their integration within land development projects.
- Excellent communication skills for effective technical writing and documentation.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
