As a Data Engineer/Analyst at Musely, you will be responsible for constructing our big data platform to meet the company's business needs. Your role will include the collection, cleaning, and transformation of business data. You will also provide data services such as business reports and data extraction tailored to business requirements. Additionally, you will perform data mining and predictive analysis based on business goals.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the company's big data platform according to business requirements.
- Collect, clean, and transform business data.
- Provide data services, including business reports and data extraction, based on business needs.
- Conduct data mining and predictive analysis to support business objectives.
Qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD in Data Mining, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Bioinformatics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or other quantitative disciplines.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with the data ETL process and proficient with tools such as: Fivetran, Redshift, dbt, Metabase.
- Experience with statistical scripting languages such as python, R, matlab.
- Proficiency in data visualization, presentation, and communication.
- Passion for working in a start-up environment.

The annual salary range for California is up to $100K USD Annual. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. Contract positions generally offer a based salary and do not include benefits and other company incentives unless prior agreement.
