Vendor Qualification Specialist within
Eni Mexico, S.de R.L. de C.V. in
Mexico City. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of all vendor management activities, including but not limited to vendor registration and qualification, due diligence assessments, continuous updates to the Eni Warning List, and compliance with SOX requirements related to vendor management.

Main responsibilities:
- Contribute to defining and updating the vendor management programme and operational plan.
- Interface with the Compliance & Vendor Management team and the Procurement unit to align strategies, maximise business opportunities, and ensure shared learning.
- Coordinate the Qualification Team and process as required.
- Interface with vendors during the qualification process as required.
- Conduct Standard Due Diligence and Due Diligence 4.0 processes in full compliance with the applicable regulatory framework.
- Manage and monitor qualification maintenance and the development of vendor relationships.
- Assist in developing plans to correct non-conformities identified during vendor evaluations.
- Monitor vendor management activities through specific analysis, considering internal and business needs.
- Identify, in coordination with relevant company functions, product areas requiring priority intervention in vendor management.
- Liaise with the Procurement unit to provide data and information regarding vendor management activities.
- Convene the Qualification Team, coordinate activities, and ensure they are correctly performed as required.
- Convene and manage any escalation meetings if the Qualification Team fails to reach an agreement.
- Provide the necessary information for managing vendor registers in Eni's centralised systems.
- Manage register maintenance, identifying and resolving any critical issues or mismatches.
- Handle the creation and modification of vendor register details and requests for changes/additions to product groups.
- Actively promote and support the inclusion of local vendors within the OPENES platform.
- Conduct evaluations of vendors against new qualification criteria introduced by Eni HQ, including ESG, Human Rights, Cybersecurity, and other key aspects.
- Prepare and contribute to annual Eni HQ objectives related to Sustainability KPIs.
Skills and experience required:
- Degree in Business, Liberal Arts, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum of three years' experience in the oil and gas industry.
- General knowledge of drilling and production operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Access required; SAP desirable).
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong planning and control abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Problem-solving capability.
