ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the subject matter expert on battery pack power performance, thermal, and life simulations, conduct simulations on battery packs, modules, and cell levels, verify design concepts, provide assessments and recommendations for battery sizing, compliance, and thermal management system design.
- Develop and participate in test and validation activities for verification and validation of battery cells, including test plan setup, test involvements, project schedule, and result analyses.
- Analyze cell test data and develop ECM models and life models, use the models developed for module and pack level simulations.
- Develop battery Simulink plant models.
- Involve in future development of software/hardware for simulation support.
- Interact with validation engineers to conduct root cause analysis and provide technical proposals and solutions to resolve engineering
- Participate in benchmarking activities
- Perform any additional duties as assigned
Required

Minimum of two years of experience in battery ECM and life model developments with MATLAB/Simulink tools; strong programming skills with MATLAB and Simulink
