Mission Objectives ? The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data pipelines, maintaining data integrity throughout migration processes, and creating actionable insights through advanced data transformation and visualization techniques. This role directly supports contract deliverables by ensuring government data assets are properly transformed, secured, and made accessible for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Execute complex data migrations from various government sources to Azure cloud platforms while maintaining data integrity and security compliance
- Design, implement, and maintain ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Azure Data Hub
- Measure, assess, and enhance data quality across government datasets through comprehensive validation frameworks and transformation protocols
- Develop and optimize data warehousing solutions with focus on database performance optimization and scalability
- Create insightful data visualizations and reports that enable government stakeholders to make informed operational decisions
- Interface directly with government officials to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and present data insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with programming teams to implement Azure microservices architecture and provide technical support for data-related development needs
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical processes, data lineage, and system architecture to support contract compliance and knowledge transfer requirements
