Job Title: Process Engineer Diamond Abrasive Manufacturing

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to take full ownership of our diamond abrasive manufacturing processes. This role is critical to driving operational excellence, product quality, and innovation. The Process Engineer will work directly with and under the guidance of the President, gaining exposure to advanced industry technologies while supporting continuous improvement and new product development.

Key Responsibilities
Own and manage all plant manufacturing processes related to diamond abrasive products
Create complete engineering drawings for diamond wheels, molds, tooling, and fixtures
Design compression molds (resin bond and PM sintered)
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and 6S activities
Support new product introduction, tooling development, and manufacturing setup
Maintain and enforce ISO 9001:2015 compliance and documentation
Conduct process studies, data analysis, and capability investigations
Develop and maintain process documentation, flowcharts, and reports
Collaborate cross-functionally to support innovation, quality, and efficiency
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials Science, Manufacturing, or related field required)
Experience in manufacturing process engineering
Strong proficiency in CAD and engineering documentation
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and process flowcharting
Ability to analyze data and improve process capability
Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for technical communication and interpretation
Preferred Qualifications
Materials science background or experience with abrasives, tooling, or mold design
Experience with compression molding and sintered materials
ISO 9001:2015 experience
Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
Work Expectations
This is a salaried position. While standard hours are daytime and flexible, the role may periodically require working more than 40 hours per week depending on workload and project needs.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is competitive and based on experience and qualifications. Highly qualified candidates will receive higher compensation.
Suggested attractive compensation range (market guidance):
$85,000 $110,000+ annually, depending on experience, technical depth, and industry background
