Hazen and Sawyer is seeking entry-level engineers for our South Florida Offices for a variety of water-related assignments in various engineering disciplines (e.g., Environmental, Civil, Chemical, etc.). These assignments may include a wide range of water, wastewater, stormwater, reuse, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Assist in preparing engineering deliverables, including sampling studies, condition assessments, process modeling, hydraulics, and design reports

Manage data for process modeling and design
-
Attend client and internal project management meetings

Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to select equipment
-
Support multiple projects from planning through construction
-
Participate in fieldwork and site visits
Required Qualifications:
-
EIT or plan to obtain within 2 years
-
0-5 years of experience
-
Possess excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in computer software typically used (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Strong organizational skills

B.S. degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited U.S. program (other engineering degrees considered case by case)

Conducts self-quality reviews before submitting work for additional QA/QC
-
Proficiency in GIS, CAD/BIM, BioWin, PowerBI, and other software
