Director – Strategic Leader in Confronting Antisemitism

Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to Laura Merage, the Director will:
- Advance and implement the Foundation’s strategic vision to confront antisemitism in the United States.
- Lead initiatives that mobilize public awareness, influence policy, and foster partnerships across sectors.
- Serve as a thought leader and advocate, leveraging historical context, current trends, and best practices to shape effective interventions.
- Ensure operational excellence while maintaining agility in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven Leadership in Complex Change: Demonstrated success in leading organizations or initiatives that address challenging societal issues, requiring courage, creativity, and persistence.
- Understanding of Antisemitism and Related Issues: Comprehensive understanding of antisemitism’s historical roots, contemporary manifestations, and prior efforts to combat it—combined with the ability to innovate beyond traditional approaches.
- Strategic and Tactical Agility: Skilled at balancing big-picture vision with hands-on execution, ensuring strategies translate into measurable impact and results.
- Diplomatic and Influential: Adept at engaging diverse stakeholders, building coalitions, and navigating sensitive conversations with tact and authority.

Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Management or related degree, Graduate degree highly preferred
- Experience in collective impact, convening and leading other organizations towards common goals, developing funding partners and alliances
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Preferred experience with startups in Philanthropy/Nonprofit administration
- Preferred experience or exposure to confronting antisemitism
- Strong communications kills
- Ability to address challenges with creative problem solving and maintain high performance levels in a rapidly evolving work environment
- High emotional intelligence and excellent relationship building skills
- Preferred experience preparing and administering budgets
- Ability to interface with sensitive information ethically and responsibly
- Strong organizational skills with ability to adhere to fast-paced project timelines
Travel
Salary Range
- $150,000 - $175,000 annually
