Mechanical Engineer Position Summary
NCX Corporation, an innovative company developing next generation X-ray tubes and systems for medical and security applications, is recruiting candidates for a Mechanical Engineer position. Reporting to the R&D Director for X-ray tube development, the Mechanical Engineer will support the development of X-ray tubes with design concepts and documentation, and other contributions as part of the Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be a strong utility player that is able to take on a diverse set of tasks and work with all departments in the organization.
Key Responsibilities
· Design complex parts and assemblies (metal, ceramics) with small tolerances
· Generate ideas and solutions for new projects as well as engineering support for current products
· Interface with development team on project requirements and design goals
· Help with building laboratory test systems
· Supplier evaluation and technical issue resolution
· Perform design analysis (tolerance stack-ups), risk analysis, root cause analysis, and DFMEA
Qualifications
· BS or MS mechanical engineering with 3+ years of experience in the design and development of production level products
· Analytical engineering skills such as structural, thermal, and dimensional
· Experience with welding and brazing technologies
· Significant experience with Inventor and/or similar CAD programs
· Geometric dimensioning and tolerance experience
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work in early-stage company environment

Pay: $87,217.41 - $105,036.02 per year
