Job Summary
We are seeking a self-driven, goal-oriented individual who can work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting the design and approval process with franchise partners and senior leadership, as well as a solid understanding of applicable building and fire, life, safety (FLS) codes.
Weekly travel is required (typically 3–4 days per week).
What You’ll Do
- Conduct regular property inspections and recommend necessary repairs, upgrades, and capital improvements.
- Diagnose root-cause failures and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Evaluate building mechanical systems and provide guidance on safety, efficiency, and performance.
- Create project scopes for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building control systems.
- Oversee installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
- Prepare bid packages and review proposals for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Collaborate with construction directors, asset managers, franchise partners, and hotel leadership to align project goals.
- Provide support and leadership to hotel facilities teams.
- Respond to emergency repair needs and coordinate timely resolution.
- Review and recommend approval for change orders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field (equivalent experience considered).
- 5+ years of experience in facilities engineering, construction, or maintenance leadership.
- Understanding of building systems and hotel-industry terminology; multi-brand experience preferred.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
