Entry Level Engineer

UNEW is currently looking for an Entry Level Engineer to join our growing team. You will support the design, development, and inspection of a wide variety of complex parts. Responsibilities:

Perform inspections of a wide variety of complex parts using state of the art computer aided inspection techniques
Interface with Senior Engineering personnel to coordinate inspection of parts
Prepare required inspection documentation such as written descriptions of inspection results including deviations from engineering specifications in accordance with established ISO17025 procedures
Provide technical support to Integrated Product Development team and all UNEW design and development activities
Review all designed products for conformance to UNEW standards
Prepare and/or edit detailed drawings and completed mechanical drawings and layouts of components and assemblies from notes, verbal instructions and rough or detailed sketches for engineering or manufacturing purposes
Develop CAD models from scan data using state of the art reverse engineering software
Disposition of Non Conforming hardware

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
0-2 years’ experience
Knowledge of basic engineering principles
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with CAD software, Siemens NX a plus
Scripting experience, a plus
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
