Data Engineer
About This Position
We develop and operate a cloud-based internal platform on AWS for a large enterprise customer. The system is actively evolving through close coordination with multiple technology partners, and continuous improvements are a core part of the work.
The Data Engineer will become part of an established delivery team that has supported this platform over an extended period and possesses strong domain and system knowledge. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a mature yet growing environment.
Our standard hiring model is full-time employment for consulting engagements. Depending on experience and alignment, this role may be structured as either a full-time position or a project-based engagement.
The client and primary stakeholders are located in Bellevue, Washington.
Role Overview
In this role, you will support ongoing IT and data initiatives by designing, building, and improving data-related systems and services. You will work across the lifecycle—from enhancing existing components to developing new capabilities—while balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term scalability and reliability.
We are seeking an engineer who is comfortable tackling complex technical challenges, understands the operational impact of data systems, and takes ownership of delivering solutions that are practical, maintainable, and aligned with real business use cases.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
