Environmental Commodities Corporation (ECC) is a Boulder-based company that has removed the equivalent of 2 million tons of CO2 from the atmosphere over the past 3 years. Our goal is to double that achievement over the coming 3 years. We have designed, built, and now operate one of the world's largest fleets of mobile machines that destroy greenhouse gases before they are released into our atmosphere. We are a team of smart, committed realists that are focused on having a measurable impact.
We are looking for a junior engineer with over 2-4 years of experience who is willing to learn quickly. Ideally, the right candidate will be:
- Analytical and data driven
- Good at problem solving
- Mechanically adept – ability to build and repair equipment when needed
- Electrically competent - ability to diagnose electrical issues
- Understanding of controls instrumentation
Project management and production management would be a significant advantage, however not essential to the role.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Manage development of GHG mitigation projects
- Assisting the entire team with technical problem solving
- Technical expert for Colorado based projects
- Implement and manage systems to assist Operating group to maximize fleet reliability and availability
Work will require occasional travel within Colorado and to the Midwest, PA & WV. Success in this position will be a strong sense of pride for being part of a team.
