Day in the Life
As a Project Engineer, you?ll support capital and maintenance projects across SWD processing plants, pipelines, measurement facilities, and related infrastructure. This field- and office-based role combines engineering design, project coordination, and hands-on field support, with travel as needed. You?ll play an important role in delivering projects safely, compliantly, and on schedule while supporting ongoing operations.
What a typical day may include:
- Reviewing project schedules, cost forecasts, and design deliverables
- Developing scopes, specifications, routing, and facility layouts with cross-functional teams
- Reviewing drawings and Bills of Material for accuracy and compliance
- Participating in HAZOPs and safety reviews
- Supporting construction activities in the field and troubleshooting operational issues
- Evaluating contractor bids, supporting AFEs, and managing costs
- Collaborating with Operations, Finance, Commercial, and Procurement teams
- Documenting progress, updating drawings, and supporting hydraulics modeling
