Buyer to join
Shanghai Eni Engineering Consulting Limited Company in Shanghai, China. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective procurement of goods and services.
Main responsibilities:- Support the procurement of goods and services required for business activities, ensuring the best terms and conditions (including price), in line with procedures and applicable legislation.
- Regularly check and appropriately break down received requisitions for services, coordinating with requesting departments to plan the timing of the relevant procurement activities (including, where applicable, materials), in accordance with approved company programmes.
- Develop robust and effective contract strategies and prepare a technically sound list of potential suppliers.
- Prepare relevant bid documentation (ITT packages), ensuring compliance with applicable obligations and procedures.
Carry out commercial evaluations and, where applicable, negotiations of received offers, formulating final recommendations in accordance with company procedures. - Draft contract documentation, ensuring that terms and clauses are clearly defined and compliant with company procedures, policies, and standard commercial practice.
- Provide timely advice and support to requesting departments in the execution and interpretation of contracts, as well as in managing and/or formalising any modifications (e.g. early termination, contract amendments, breaches of contract).
- Carry out additional duties as required by the Company.
Skills and experience required:- Degree in Economics, Supply Chain, Management, Engineering, or Law.
- Significant experience in oil and gas projects within the relevant area.
- Proven experience in supervisory or senior contract roles.
- Experience with procurement and database systems (e.g. SAP, Excel).
- Strong contract management, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Solid knowledge of international contract formats and project governance.
- Understanding of commodity markets and price trends.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.
- High level of professional integrity and confidentiality awareness.
- Excellent written and spoken English, particularly for contract terminology.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and perform under pressure
- Proficient in MS Office.
