Eni, we are looking for a
Tax and Treasury Coordinator to join
Shanghai Eni Engineering Consulting Limited Company in Shanghai, China. You will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance and supporting tax and treasury activities.
Main responsibilities: Invoice Management & Verification
- Collect, verify, reconcile, record, file and track the full cycle of all operating expense invoices.
Expense Booking & Project Allocation
- Perform expense booking and project cost allocation in SAP based on source documents
- Assist in preparing and issuing debit notes, and liaise with the Group and project teams for expense settlement and collection tracking.
Fund Settlement & Banking Affairs
- Handle daily fund operations, including arranging and submitting bank payments via the e-banking system, recording bank receipts, performing bank reconciliations and filing bank slips.
- Follow up on registered capital inflows, foreign exchange settlement and fund usage registration, and provide support for treasury-related coordination.
- Maintain daily communication with banks and handle account management and settlement-related matters.
Provide timely data on cash flow, expenses and project allocations to support fund control.
Tax Assistance & Compliance Support
- Assist with tax filing, invoicing, and the preparation and submission of tax documents.
- Complete all tax filings and tax-related submissions to the tax authorities accurately and on time.
- Validate the tax compliance of contracts and invoices.
- Support internal and external tax audits, provide documentation promptly, respond to notices and maintain a good relationship with tax authorities.
Daily Execution & Process Support
- Follow up on contract payment progress to ensure timely payments.
- Organise, file and maintain financial vouchers.
- Coordinate with HR and external service providers regarding payments related to expatriate salaries, social insurance and the housing fund.
Other Duties
- Perform other finance, tax and treasury-related tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.
- Adherence to the Company's HSE Policy.
Skills and experience required:- Degree in Accounting or a relevant discipline.
- Specialisation in Tax (preferred) and/or an MBA in Finance, or another relevant qualification in Economics.
- Extensive relevant experience.
- Good knowledge of tax laws.
- Experience in tax matters and compliance.
- Experience in dealing with tax authorities, obtaining tax clearances, and managing inspection processes.
- Experience in preparing and filing all tax forms.
- Knowledge of accounting systems, both local standards and IFRS.
- Good knowledge of accounting systems; SAP experience preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure, with a proactive approach.
- Attention to detail, proactive mindset, positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-player attitude.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
