Electrical Engineering Job Description
I. BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
To perform power supply electrical engineering design type work which is specific in nature and requires extensive knowledge and experience. Applying basic engineering principles, theories and concepts to complete assignments under direct technical supervision.
II. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs specific professional technical assignments of an investigatory, design or test nature requiring analysis and evaluation, selection and application engineering principles, theories and techniques.
2. Design and development of low power DC-DC converters.
3. Prepares charts, diagrams and reports expressing technical progress and accomplishments measured against specific plans.
4. Work with other electrical, mechanical, PCB, and production design personnel.
Preferred Skills and Education
Experience in any of the following is a PLUS:
- Power Supply/Systems Design
- Analog Circuit Design
- Digital Circuit Design
- Programing language experience
- SPICE or equivalent analog circuit simulation tool experience
- Board Design
- Cadence Allegro for schematic capture and PCB design
- RF circuit design
- Proficient in circuit active and passive devices
- Ability to read schematics
- Team player and resourceful in achieving goals
- GPA of 3.0 or higher strongly preferred

Required Skills and Education
Seeking graduates with one or both of the following
- AS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 15-20 years’ experience
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 5+ years’ experience
