About the Opportunity:
A well-established engineering consulting firm with more than 50 years of success in industrial and infrastructure projects is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join its team.
This is a confidential search for a full-remote position — candidates can work from anywhere in the U.S. but should be open to occasional site visits (primarily in the Pittsburgh, PA region).

What You’ll Do:
- Lead electrical design projects from concept through construction packages
- Prepare and review single-line diagrams, equipment layouts, routing plans, interconnection diagrams, and loop diagrams
- Provide technical oversight and quality review for all deliverables before client issuance
- Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams and provide on-site support as needed during key project phases
- Support business development discussions with existing and prospective clients
- Develop and maintain technical standards/specifications for use on projects
- Mentor junior engineers and guide project teams through execution
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
- 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering and design, ideally in a consulting environment
- Proven track record in heavy industrial projects (e.g., metals, oil & gas, utilities, or petrochemical)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with industrial codes and standards
- Experience leading project or engineering teams is required
- PE license strongly preferred (or ability to obtain reciprocity in PA and other states)

Pay: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
