You’ll be working directly with enterprise infrastructure, supporting installations, troubleshooting, and day-to-day operations to ensure continuous system performance and uptime.If you’re someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working with hardware, and being in the center of operations, this role offers strong exposure to real-world data center environments and the chance to grow your technical skillset.Key Responsibilities:Perform rack & stack, cabling, and hardware installationsSupport server and network equipment maintenance (HDD, memory, CPU, NICs, etc.)Execute break/fix, move/add/change (MAC) activitiesTroubleshoot and resolve hardware and connectivity issuesSupport data center staging, deployments, and asset managementInstall, test, and terminate fiber and copper cabling (including Cat6)Maintain rack elevations and documentation within DCIM tools (Nlyte)Monitor systems and escalate incidents as neededCollaborate with internal teams and vendors during outages or performance issuesProvide updates and status reporting on active and resolved issuesEnsure adherence to data center safety standardsAssist with preventative maintenance of network and data center equipmentQualifications:Experience with routers, switches, and firewallsStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of LAN/WAN networking fundamentalsFamiliarity with server hardware and data center operationsExperience with structured cabling (fiber and copper), testing, and connectorsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentStrong communication and organizational skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment if neededAbility to lift up to 50 lbsPreferred:5+ years of data center experienceExperience with Cisco networking equipmentFamiliarity with PDUs, power distribution, and load managementKnowledge of electrical standards, airflow, and cooling in data centersBachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experienceCompensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $30.00 and $40.00 per hour.
