The Opportunity
This is a key, hands-on accounting role with ownership of the full accounting cycle for multiple entities. You will work closely with management and clients. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys autonomy, variety, and being relied upon as the accounting expert.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full accounting cycle, including AP/AR, general ledger, and month-end close
- Prepare and process payroll, including quarterly and annual payroll tax filings
- Complete bank and account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate, well-organized financial records and supporting documentation
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Partner with management and external CPAs on audits, tax filings, and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and best practices
- Provide insights and recommendations to support sound financial decision-making
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or Accountant
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Yardi, AppFolio, or similar systems
- Advanced Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality
